**Brief summary of interview**: Tony Rees discusses the life of Frank Matthews who focused his career as helping disabled children and was a member the Birmingham Society for the Care of Invalid Children. The Society helped to found and fund Bodenham Manor School for troubled children with David Wills as the first Warden. Rees also talks about his mother, Hilda Rees, who worked for Frank Matthews, involvement with the Labour Party and connections with John Cross. Craig Fees and Tony Rees discuss some of Frank Matthews papers as they look through them before discussing David Wills and the end of Bodenham. Later in the recording they are joined by Sheila Rees, Tony's wife. Sheila worked at Bodenham as a cook for a term and recounts her time there along with conversations she had with David Wills about his previous experiences.
